weekend is half over

before you know it, the weekend is almost over.  let see how i wasted it sat.

1. woke up and went to gym for my first session of personal training.
2. had brunch on my own and went to lucky to transfer some money.
3. came home and pretty much wasted a few hours chatting online.
4. packed up my computer (bought 15 Jun 08 sold 30 Aug 08) and brought it over to friend who bought it from me. help him set up.
5. fetch 2 other friends and had dinner, chit chat.  sent everyone home.
6. back home by 9pm. checked net a little.  fell asleep.

more on the green initiative … this is a cool idea.  besides solar, kinetic energy is also clean renewable.  imagine having to go jogging with rechargeable batteries to get it to work.  but a better idea might be mobile phones working on kinetic energy as we do carry the mobile with us all the time.

love of siam …. love the movie … mario helps

highly recommended.  see my previous post on the love song.  for details of the story follow the link after this (movie story).   as how one blogger puts it:

just watch both movies.  prefer the love of siam.  although i think both are quite nice.  but i must admit, i fast forwarded both and only watched the “interesting” parts.  love of siam has a simple love song, innocents of youth, cute boys.  tug at the heart string.  imagine one of the boys writing and singing this song to the other:

super cool.  nothing better than working wireless.  form the picture it seems that macbook air is connected to the monitor and a wireless mouse all through wireless usb.  SWEET!

cannot wait for the technology to finally arrive.  if they have that built into the computers …. wait … how is that different from bluetooth?

weekend is nearing … so is 35

weekend is at the doorstep. kind of like started exercising a bit recently. have been eating and sitting on my butt for a while. work is piling up as usual … so much so i wrote an email to both my bosses yesterday just listing down all the work i am doing. hope they get the hint.

i took the plunge yesterday as well and sign up for 6 weekly personal training in the gym. i hope it will at least make me put in an effort to get fitter … thot i give this a try before i go the short and quick way of liposcrupture that will not give me a fit strong body anyway. should make use of the vanity in me to get fitter at least.

been eating and eating and eating and have not exercise yet.  sigh.  putting on.  i better start the weekend warrior engine.  have 2 weeks to lose some pounds before my manila trip.  run run run!

this is a remote that does not use any batteries.  apparently 30 rounds of the winding is enough to power the remote for up to 1 week.  isnt this just amazing? imagine the number of batteries the earth is saved from if all remotes uses this dynamo technology.

below is a solar power table.  4 hours of charge is enough to power 4 hours of 12 v.  but it is costing over 2,000 USD for now.

am sure more and more such innovation will be developed.  i still think this is the best time to go into such product design.  it will be the next big thing in the next 10 years.

i think i put on weight recently.  not sure how or how i managed to pass my ippt as well.  but i even broke this japanese bamboo feet massager where you are suppose to step on it.  imagine my horror when i step and it broke into two.  but it is still so much more of a relieve that i have cleared my ippt.  so i can take my time and own pace to get fit.  but i am not getting younger.  hmmmm i should go listen to the last lecture again and get some inspiration.

ok this is a nicer iphone case.  the leather makes it looks executive as well.  love the way the handsfree wrap around.  but am i suppose to put that into my pocket?

with the recent oil prices and all, strongly feel solar is the way to go.  this i think is a very nice looking (as in out of everything available now) solar casing for the iphone.  will be nice not having to worry about the battery when i travel and can just plan games on it all day.
